Frankly, we’re sick of seeing Sean Hannity get backlash just for his support of the Republican Candidate.
For years on his weekly show, he has pounded the drum of right wing politics, which should be no major surprise. Hannity is doing nothing different than any of the left-wing news outlet, the only difference is the left leaning news channels yell a bit louder. The liberal media is constantly rigging polls in Clinton’s favor, so to see Hannity get heat for this is totally ridiculous.
Erik Wemple to suggest that he is “100% beyond the reach of Fox News management.” “I wouldn’t be surprised to find that in its next annual report, 21st Century Fox will report that the ‘Hannity’s show at some point in the 2016 cycle was spun off as an independent company separate from Fox News,” Wemple told Business Insider. “He’s running his own fiefdom, his own shop, his own news network.”
Despite the backlash from Fox, Hannity was still sticking to his guns as late as last Thursday.
“I know that people hate when I cite online polling,” Hannity acknowledged on his Thursday program. “But when you see The Hill and you see Slate and Time.com, these are not mainstream conservative polling or websites. And when they vote after a debate so overwhelmingly for Trump, it’s telling me something.”
Hannity’s defense is when you see other news sites like “The Hill” and you see “Slate” and “Time.com” polls, which are not mainstream conservative polling or websites indicate their results indicate at the conclusion of the debate an overwhelmingly victory for Trump, it’s telling me something. We all know polls are based on who, where and how the questions are asked so there is much grey reported, but what this story is showing is the shift in where Fox News is and where it is going.
