Hillary Clinton is growing increasingly desperate as we inch closer to election day. Her attacks on Trump and his supporters is proof enough of just that. David Clarke, the famed Wisconsin Sheriff who gained notoriety by condemning Black Lives Matters chimed in with his thoughts on Hillary’s ongoing strategy.
Clinton recently stated, “You could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the Basket of Deplorables. Right? They’re racist sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic. You name it.”
Sheriff David Clarke argued playing the race card is the only way the Clintons appeal to the black community.
CLARKE: Well, she’s relying on that because it’s worked in the past. But look, black people are as diverse as any other demographic in the United States and they’re beginning to open their eyes to this monolithic voting for Democrats. So, she’s a one-trick pony, it’s the only thing she can play. The one word that comes to mind when I think of her is ‘sinister.’ Donald Trump however, he made the appeal and that’s something that hasn’t happened in the past in the fashion that he did. He went down and talked to black people with respect and he understands that we can think our way through this thing. And he made it clear that, you know, give them a chance, take a look around the American ghetto, things have not gotten better voting for Democrats. Look, she’ll get a high number of blacks because there will be a lag time between his message and the time it takes effect, but she’s not going to draw out the numbers. Think volume, not percentage. She will not get the volume of black voters that Barack Obama or even her husband did and that’s why she’s in trouble.
Clarke hit the nail on the head. He is absolutely right when he says people are starting to wake up to the lies. It is not like any of this is new for Clinton, the problem for her is that EVERYTHING she has ever said has been recorded proving her dishonesty and we all have access to this information. It is certainly working against her. Let’s hope it carry’s over until election day.
