The CDC Has Been Caught Spying On Nearly 25% Of The Country….
Lockdowns, vaccine mandates, and mask mandates were already unprecedented violations of Americans’ civil liberties, as hundreds of thousands of businesses were closed and people were only permitted to leave their homes for essentials.
Zerohedge has now revealed an even more egregious violation of Americans’ privacy rights.
To ensure that Americans followed statewide lockdown orders, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) purchased cell phone data for tens of millions of people in order to track their location.
The CDC has attempted to justify its purchase of Americans’ location and cell phone data in order to assess the effectiveness of lockdown policies.

The $628,000 in purchases was split between two different companies and allowed the CDC to track the location of 55 million people.
While Vice News previously covered the contracts, their coverage was limited to a screenshot of one page of the agreement. After the Epoch Times and Zerohedge obtained all 71 pages of the agreement, new details emerged.

Zero Hedge Reports:
According to contracts with the companies, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) purchased data from tracking companies to monitor compliance with lockdowns.
The CDC paid $420,000 to one firm and $208,000 to another. This resulted in the acquisition of location data from at least 55 million cellphone users.
The contracts, approved under emergency review due to the COVID-19 pandemic, were aimed at providing the CDC “with the necessary data to continue critical emergency response functions elated to evaluating the impact of visits to key points of interest, stay at home orders, closures, re-openings and other public heath communications related to mask mandate, and other merging research areas on community transmission of SARS-CoV-2,” the contracts, obtained by The Epoch Times, state.
The CDC said it would be using the tracking data to “assess home-by-hour behaviors (i.e. curfew analysis) by exploring the percentage of mobile devices at home during specific period of time.” The data could also be integrated with other information “to provide a comprehensive picture of movement/travel of persons during the COVID-19 pandemic to better understand mandatory stay-at-home orders, business closure, school re-openings, and other non-pharmaceutical interventions in states and cities.”
