For over fifty years, democrats have gotten a wide majority of the black vote. Today, the poverty rate among blacks is at the same level or possibly higher than it has been in the past. That is what prompted Donald Trump to challenge black voters to set aside the norms and vote for him because “What do you have to lose?” The democrats have consistently tossed blacks aside for gays, illegals, Muslims and any other new voting bloc because they have learned that they will get the black vote regardless. Around election time they will pay lip service to the black community, but that’s all it is.
A 2014 report put out on black poverty is an eye opener:
According to the 2014 U.S. Census Bureau ACS study (see charts below) 27% of all African American men, women and children live below the poverty level compared to just 11% of all Americans. An even higher percentage (38%) of Black children live in poverty compared to 22% of all children in America. The poverty rate for working-age Black women (26%) which consists of women ages 18 to 64 is higher than that of working-age Black men (21%).
Poverty rates for Black families vary based on the family type. While 23% of all Black families live below the poverty level only 8% of Black married couple families live in poverty which is considerably lower than the 37% of Black families headed by single women who live below the poverty line. The highest poverty rates (46%) are for Black families with children which are headed by
single Black women. This is significant considering more than half (55%) of all Black families with children are headed by single women.
Democrats have learned that by talking about poverty among the black community just serves to remind them how useless their support for democrats is. Now, they argue that republicans want to disenfranchise black voters by insisting that they have IDs. Liberals argue that extremely poor blacks don’t have IDs and can’t obtain them.
Poor blacks, like poor whites and poor Hispanics get government’s help with food stamps, HUD, HEAP, Medicaid and welfare. What do all of these programs have in common? You cannot collect any of them without a valid ID. So, are there ten s of millions of blacks who are starving to death because they don’t have IDs?
Liberals even claim that Georgia is racist because they passed ID laws for voting. But, if you are poor and living in Georgia, you have to foregoing all safety net programs because you don’t have an ID. And even if that were true, how hard is it to get a valid ID in Georgia? You need to make one phone call and the state sends someone to your house who issues you an idea free of charge.
In this years election, liberals are using the lame excuse that Trump is a racist. Why? Because he is against illegal immigration and accepting millions of Muslims without any kind of background check. How does that affect the black community and prove Trump is racist against them? It proves nothing. But there is an a way it affects the black community. As Obama and his liberal pals dole out work permits for illegals anf Muslim refugees, the black unemployment rate rises steadily.
To summarize, Trump was right to ask the black community for their vote because they really have nothing to lose and possibly a lot to gain. The media has been playing up the fact that many members of golf courses that Trump has purchased causes members to quit. Is it because the quality of the course or the amenities drop? Just the opposite. It’s because Trump golf courses do not allow written or unwritten rules that ban blacks and Jews from joining.
Liberals want their vote but not their company.
