This Is Trump’s ONE TWEET That Cost Toyota $1.2 Billion IN FIVE MINUTES

People are complaining about this Tweet but no one said Making America Great Again would please EVERYBODY!

$1.2 billion dollars is a figure that is difficult to imagine. It is hard to conceive how a company, small or large, could grow to a size where dollars are measured in the billions. Imagine losing more than $1 billion in only a few minutes?

Reportedly, Toyota Motor company did just that after Trump Tweeted a negative comment about their plans yesterday. Take a look:

Toyota Motor said will build a new plant in Baja, Mexico, to build Corolla cars for U.S. NO WAY! Build plant in U.S. or pay big border tax.

Trump has been talking about a border tax for some time yet people are complaining that is Tweet was somehow unfair to Toyota. One writer said, “

Can someone stop Donald Trump from tweeting for a bit? Or maybe give him a social media lesson? I don’t think he realises the full influence of those little Wotsits he calls fingers.

Toyota shares have dropped faster than I did after the third Sambuca on New Year’s Eve after the president-elect tweeted a negative comment regarding the company. It cost $1.2billion (£971,738,616) in value.”

Toyota has said that the Mexican plant will not cut any American employment and that they look forward to working with the Trump Administration.

So be it, but is Trump out of line with his Tweet? Should a border tax apply to the new plant?

I think the message is clear: build in America, support America, and we will all profit.

What is so unfair about that?

It is a new way of doing business and it is likely to take time for the world to adjust.
