I’ll ask you, why do tax service companies exist? For that matter, what is the purpose of accountants? Every year companies advertise their services to help an individual with their taxes. When you sit down with a tax advisor, what are you trying to accomplish? Is it to pay more taxes, because if that were the case you would not need their services. No, you seek advice to help you save from paying taxes.

So why is Mr. Trump’s saving taxes such a big deal, when Hillary uses the same formula, including a foundation to hide her earnings?

According to Reuters:

Some 67 percent of Americans said it is “selfish” for a presidential candidate to pay no taxes, while 61 percent said it is “unpatriotic,” according to the poll, which allowed respondents to pick more than one adjective to describe paying no taxes. At the same time, the results showed some respect for a candidate who can figure out how to reduce their tax bill. Some 46 percent of Americans, including 35 percent of Democrats and 62 percent of Republicans, thought a presidential candidate who pays no taxes is “smart.”

I have no problem paying someone a nickel to save a dime. In all honesty, isn’t that the American way?

I wonder if all these respondents knew how the tax dollars were distributed, they might sing another tune. So much is taken and so little is done, roads are in decay, people starving, and food stamp distribution is through the roof.

Mr. Trump and for that matter Hillary Clinton, have professionals taking care of their affairs for good reason, to save them money, and there is nothing wrong with that.

What do you think?
