Tensions between President Donald Trump and Republican Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp went to a whole new level on Wednesday after the president demanded that the governor resign from his position after how he’s approached the post-2020 election turmoil and allegations of widespread voter fraud in his state.
According to Newsmax, after weeks of poking Kemp on social media, Trump dropped the hammer on Wednesday in no uncertain terms.
“@BrianKempGA should resign from office,” Trump wrote. “He is an obstructionist who refuses to admit that we won Georgia, BIG! Also won the other Swing States.”
