The thing that liberals just do not understand about Donald Trump is that he is like so many other people in life, that when you think he is at his weakest that he is his strongest.
This sham of a second impeachment is one of those things that is just going to prove that he is much stronger than they give him credit for and exactly how much they had to cheat in order to win the 2020 election.
We’re on the cusp of this sham of an impeachment trial and the liberals must be sweating their butts off because they realize that when they fail this time, they are going to simply create a fire-breathing dragon.
As the Senate impeachment trial gets closer, former President Donald Trump has been staying out of the media spotlight, which is likely driving the mainstream media crazy, and may actually be making him stronger.
Without the constant leaks from Democrat or RINO infiltrators in his administration, Trump has been able to work on his plans for the future in relative privacy.
Despite their best efforts, RINOs and Democrats have been unable to turn people away from Trump. So, they have chosen to vilify Trump supporters, and conservatives in general, and are using the storming of the Capitol as their excuse.
The first impeachment attempt just made Trump and his base stronger, and the second impeachment attempt is likely to have the same effect.
Small pieces of information are slowly trickling into the news about Trump’s legal team preparing for the trial, including the fact that their main focus is proving that the trial itself is unconstitutional. The goal of impeachment is to remove a president, but Trump is now a private citizen after leaving office on January 20. It shouldn’t be possible to impeach a former president.
Senator Rand Paul introduced a point of order in the Senate which alleged that the impeachment trial is contrary to the Constitution, as there should be no reason to impeach a president who is no longer in office.
Senator Rand Paul tweeted:
“The Senate just voted on my constitutional point of order.
45 Senators agreed that this sham of a “trial” is unconstitutional.
That is more than will be needed to acquit and to eventually end this partisan impeachment process.
This “trial” is dead on arrival in the Senate.”
