Should we as a cizilized people in the western world be surprised of what happens in Middle Eastern Muslim based Countries? I will have to say no, with the events of heavy migration of muslims into the west we should not be surprised at the rate Sharia has moved to the fore front. Turkey is the latest example. Remember the recent coup attempt? Well the constitutional court annuled a decision claiming the age of 15 is no different than 12 in matters of sex, as long as it is consentual. Now I ask you when was the last time you heard of a female having any rights in any way under Sharia Law?

The Constitutional Court has ruled to annul a provision that punishes all sexual acts against children under the age of 15 as “sexual abuse,” stirring outrage from academics and women’s rights activists who warn that the decision will lead to cases of child abuse going unpunished. Kroner Zeitung Austria’s largest selling newspaper reported that the district court claimed a 15-year old’s consent was scarcely different to that of a 12 to 14-year-old’s. They argued that the mental capacity of a 12-year-old was not hugely different from a 15-year-old.

Does it not at all amaze that Turkey is more concerned with the news being reported than the fact that the law itself amounts to more child abuse. I never thought in my day that I would see adults in places of leadership putting children at risk of  sexual predators under the guise of law. What do you think?
