U.S.Housing Market On Rise, Shortage Of Construction Workers A Problem

Can’t find anybody to work? Half the population is collecting, start with them. But all kidding aside, with so many unemployed, what is it going to take to fill the positions? You can tell where I am going. Has anyone noticed the labor force working outside? Most landscaping, roof repair, painting, remodeling is being done by those of Mexican and Latin American decent. The question is , Are they documented or not? How are we to know, is the government turning a blind eye to this purposely? Many undocumented are ingrained in the work force, and to resolve this issue might be harder than changing the course of the Mississippi River.

According to

Eight years after the housing bust drove an estimated 30 percent of construction workers into new fields, homebuilders across the country are struggling to find workers at all levels of experience, according to the National Association of Homebuilders. The association estimates that there are approximately 200,000 unfilled construction jobs in the U.S. – a jump of 81 percent in the last two years. The ratio of construction job openings to hiring, as measured by the Department of Labor, is at its highest level since 2007.

I am sort of wondering what is the solution Donald Trump is going to come up with. I for one have no problem with legal immigrants , but how is He going to handle the deportation of all illegals? Sounds good, but is it possible? These people like to work, that’s a good thing, but being paid under the table by companies not paying taxes is not. Lots of questions, with very few answers. I hope we get it right. What do you think?
