United States Army veteran A.D. Bell has ripped into Obama in a video he recorded after Obama told blacks that they should vote for Hillary as a tribute to him. Some of his remarks include:
“There’s a lot of things going on. As you may also see, I’m wearing my ‘Make America Great Again’ hat which I don’t usually wear. I keep it in my home so when people walk into my home, it’s one of the first things they usually see.”
“It’s football season, Seahawks. These two things tell a story.”
“Chicago is my home, so I was a Bears fan … but I no live there any longer, so I don’t really care about the teams, but I do care about the people.”
Here is the remark that set Bell off:
“If I hear anybody saying their vote does not matter, that it doesn’t matter who we elect — read up on your history. It matters. We’ve got to get people to vote. I will consider it a personal insult — an insult to my legacy — if this community lets down its guard and fails to activate itself in this election. You want to give me a good sendoff? Go vote.”
To which Bell replied:
“When President Barack Obama said he’d find it a personal insult if the people, black people in particular, don’t vote for Hillary Clinton. I find it a personal insult that you’ve only made one attempt to reach out to these people.”
