Bonnie Schaefer, a member of the DNC Platform Committee, who write the platform on which democrats base their campaigns, was recorded from C-Span. She said:
“I really don’t personally think anyone should have a gun. That’s just my own philosophy.”
Would the democrats really run on a platform of repealing the 2nd Amendment? It seems unlikely, but remember, this is the party that booed God. If they don’t respect God, what chance do you think the constitution has?
Schaefer’s comment comes on the heels of Hillary’s refusal to say the 2nd Amendment is a constitutional right should give all gun owners the willies. It’s unlikely that the democrats will put that plank in their official platform, but that doesn’t mean that they won’t work towards that end. A fox may not say he’s going to raid the hen house but the moment your back is turned, he will be digging below your fence.
Here is the video of Schaefer making her statement:
When she was asked twice about the 2nd Amendment, Clinton refused to say it’s a right. What she said was evasive:
“If it is a constitutional right, then it–like every constitutional right–is subject to reasonable regulation.”
