[VIDEO] Emotional Reunion Captured On Go-Pro Dog As His Master Returns From Long Deployment

There are many benefits of returning home after a long deployment, not the least of which is being reunited with man’s best friend. This is a great greeting for this soldier who has been away from home for at least 3 years.

Max the dog is unable to contain his joy as he hears Abraham Christian come through the front door. The canine is captured sprinting through the house on a GoPro camera strapped to his back. The delighted dog yelps with glee and climbs up to lick his owner’s face.

There was only one member of the household more delighted than this woman to embrace a soldier returning from a tour of duty overseas.

And that was the man’s faithful dog who hurtles towards a delighted Abraham Christian after he had returned from Afghanistan.

In a heart-warming video the canine, called Max, is unable to contain his joy as he hears a sound at the front door of the family home in Sackets Harbor, New York.

His rush towards the soldier is then captured by a camera the woman has strapped to his back.

Max sprints through the kitchen and living room to jump onto the soldier who crouches down to cuddle him.

The dog yelps with glee and climbs up to lick his owner’s face.

Beaming away the soldier, still dressed in full uniform, scratches the canine behind the ears.

He can be heard saying: ‘Hey bud, hey remember me. That’s a good boy.’

He then has time to greet the woman not nearly as quick on her toes as Max.
