This video shows the world’s global storage vault, 150m into the Norwegian mountainside. With more than 860,000 different types of seed (basically enough to help us restart life on Earth), Germany, Nigeria, the US and India have all donated to the bank.

Originally designed to help us out if there’s a cataclysmic global disaster, the video explains that we may need the seed deposit a lot sooner.
