Mia DeJesus, 16, was horrifically beaten by four girls in her school’s bathroom. The bullies recorded the beating and posted it to social media, thinking they could use it to taunt DeJesus over the attack. Instead, DeJesus has turned the tables on her bullies by using the incident and the clip to create an anti-bullying video message. Her video calls both for her bullies to be held accountable and for bullying in general to be considered a crime.
