protest

A liberal protester in North Dakota, who is protesting against the pipeline has been arrested and charged with attempted murder of police officers who tried to arrest her.  Red Fawn Fallis, 37, was approached by two officers after she was trying to instigate a riot among the protesters.  She whipped out her gun and fired three shots at the officers at close range , missing them each time.  Good thing she didn’t have better gun control.

The protesters were being cleared off from private property when the incident occurred.  The protesters are trying to stop a 3.8 billion dollar pipeline from being built ostensibly for the good of the environment.  Like all things liberal that is pure hogwash.  Stopping the pipeline will not stop the drilling for oil and if there is no pipeline then the oil must be moved by trains owned by Warren Buffett.  That leaves a much bigger carbon footprint than a pipeline ever would.

A video (pictured), which purports to show the moment Fallis was arrested begins with a group of people chanting and singing as a circle of officers surround an area

As the singing and chanting continues, two shots ring out. A moment passes and then a third is heard

The 1,172-mile pipeline, being built by a group of companies led by Energy Transfer Partners LP, would offer the fastest and most direct route to bring Bakken shale oil from North Dakota to U.S. Gulf Coast refineries (stock image of Standing Rock protesters)

From The Mail Online:

Police can been seen struggling with a person, believed to be Fallis in the background as the one-minute clip ends.

After being subdued and arrested, a small amount of marijuana was found in Fallis’ possession, according to court documents.

She is facing additional charges including engaging in a riot, possession of marijuana and preventing arrest.

The attempted murder charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.

An attorney for Fallis was not listed in court documents and an official from the Morton County Courthouse said on Monday that Fallis did not yet have a lawyer.

Fallis has been arrested twice during the ongoing protest, the Denver Post reported.
