Taline Campos, 25, from Guarulhos, a city in the São Paulo metropolitan area, was walking along the beach in rainy weather when she was struck by lightning and she promptly fell to the ground. She was taken to a nearby emergency room and then transferred to a hospital in critical condition. Someone should have warned her that during a thunderstorm, you should avoid the water, trees and metal structures.
