She didn’t do it. She came up short, big time. Mrs Clinton’s HQ actually was planning a celebration with fire works outside New York City. Her supporters were waiting for the inevitable, but it didn’t turn out the way it was to be expected. How embarrassing! When I heard the fireworks were canceled, my heart started to pound. And as I watched Hillary’s media frowning and fumbling for words, I knew there was a chance. Sure, I’d love to see a woman become president, if qualified and I believe in her platform, but NOT a criminal in a pantsuit with such a screwy vision for America. I can wait.
Anyhow, Hillary Clinton took her sweet time to give her concession speech, but it’s official. It has been delivered. This was almost better than seeing her in handcuffs. It was probably the first speech of her’s I listened to from start to finish, not because I felt for her loss and her tears, but to see that it was true.
