Soldier David Schmidt reeled in a nearly 12 foot tiger shark, weighing 600 pounds, but what he does afterwards is incredible.  He wrestles the 12 foot eating machine that weighs more than three times what he does to examine the beast and to tag it with his bare hands.  He pried open it’s deadly jaws to cut out the hook and examine it.  He determined that the shark, which he caught off the coast of North Carolina, where shark attacks took place earlier in the year was in fact, too big to tag.  With the help of two others, he managed to get it back into the ocean without being bitten.
