This is an investigation that needs to be reported on as information breaks. How did this man get past the screening process with such concerns? A Milwaukee police officer who fatally shot a black man in August, sparking several nights of unrest, has been charged with sexually assaulting a man the night after the shooting, after they watched coverage of the riots on television at a bar, authorities said Thursday. Officer Dominique Heaggan-Brown, 24, was arrested Wednesday.
Using photographs and other data from the officer’s cellphone, the complaint said, investigators determined that Heaggan-Brown offered two other people money for sex several times — in December 2015 and in July and August of this year — and that he sexually assaulted another unconscious person in July, and photographed that victim naked without that person’s consent. The charges include two felony counts of second-degree sexual assault, two misdemeanor prostitution counts and one felony count of capturing an intimate representation of a person without consent.
There will be a lot of questions in why and how this happened, and I’ll be curious to see if any heads will roll(so to speak). First questions was this a quota hiring, or was he the best man for the position? Answer, seemingly not. Or was he that good of a liar or manipulator? These questions need to be answered in a proper hearing. We as the public need to know that the process is somewhat credible. I don’t think it is asking much, do you?
