This week it was revealed that Terry McAuliffe was under investigation for accepting what could be an illegal $120,000 campaign contribution.  It was later shown that the same Chinese businessman, Wang Wenliang contributed a total of $2 million to the Clinton Foundation.  It is also likely that he has contributed to Hillary’s presidential campaign.

When McAuliffe was asked about his relationship with Wenliang, he made these statements:

“I’m not even sure if I’ve ever met [Wang], to be honest with you.”

But Wang Wenliang attended a fundraiser at the home of Hillary Clinton for a fundraiser for the McAuliffe campaign for governor of Virginia.  McAuliffe was in attendance:

Wang Wenliang chairs the privately-held China Rilin Construction Group, which holds a majority stake in Dadong Port Group, a Chinese port near North Korea. Wang sits on the board of trustees at New York University. In early 2015, The New York Times reported that Wang was the unnamed person behind a shell corporation that paid $25.6 million for three pricey condos in the exclusive Time Warner building in New York City.

Wenliang has close ties to the Chinese government and the Clinton Foundation was criticized for accepting the 2 million dollars from them.  The McAuliffe staffers say contributions to his campaign were legal because Wenliang has permanent resident status in the United States through the the EB-5 program.  McAuliffe and Hillary’s brother Tony Rodham were implicated in a scheme in which they got visas for Chinese businessmen with the aid of government employee, Anthony Mayorkas.

The Department of Homeland Security’s inspector general issued a report in 2015 saying a top official there,Alejandro Mayorkas, made “an appearance of favoritism and special access.”

“Mayorkas intervened in an administrative appeal related to the denial of a regional center’s application to receive EB-5 funding to manufacture electric cars through investments in a company in which Terry McAuliffe was the board chairman,”

Wenliang has close ties to the communist country of China and his construction company builds all of China’s embassies and consulates in the United States.  Terry McAuliffe gave an interview in which he kept changing his story into his relationship with Wang:

The word I am hearing, but can’t confirm is that the political contribution to McAuliffe is the tip of the iceberg and the real problem is that McAuliffe could be considered as an agent of a foreign government, which in itself is not illegal, however, if you don’t register yourself as an advocate for a foreign government, you are in serious trouble.  It is believed that McAuliffe has never been so registered.
