You should view this video and share it on your time line. It’s a small gesture to reinforce what this brave marine vet has set to words in remembrance of the great and brave souls who have previously fought and lost their lives defending our flag, our country, and our American values.
The Eric Sheppard Hr. challenge is an anti-American knock off of the ALS Bucket Challenge. Sheppard is a self-proclaimed terrorist, and a member of the New Black Panthers Party member.
He recently made headlines for hosting a protest on the Valdosta State University Campus. During the protest, he threw the American flag on the ground and proceeded to stomp all over it. When police attempted to stop Sheppard, he ran.
He is currently still on the run and is wanted by the Valdosta, Georgia Police Department. When the department found his backpack on campus, they learned that he was carrying a loaded gun.
Shortly after the protest was posted to social media, Erica Walker, one of Sheppard’s followers began a demonstration of her own. She asked someone to snap a photo of her stomping on the flag while standing next to a friend. The two women held up their fists to symbolize their support of the Black Panthers.
She later released a video of her stomping on the American Flag. ‘
When a local newspaper notified Walker’s employers of her actions, a representative from 1380 WAOK The Voice of the Community issued a quick response.
“We appreciate your thoughts on this matter and taking the time to share them with us,” a representative commented. “Please note that Erica Walker is no longer with the station.”
As it turns out, Walker’s Facebook page has been full of hateful posts directed a white Americans in particular for some time now. She referred to white people as crackers and devils, and has also posted about her hatred toward law enforcement.
Facebook deleted both of Walker’s pages, claiming: “We found that the material on Walker’s pages violated community standards, therefore we removed it.”
One Marine named Shane Lawler has taken to social media to challenge Walker, and express his frustration with her disrespect toward the American Flag.
“My message to you is this: if you don’t like what America has to offer, pack your s**t and get the f**k out,” Lawler said in a video addressed to those participating in the movement. “There might be another country on this planet that is capable of dealing with your bulls**t, but that’s not me. If you don’t like what’s happening here, there’s plenty of other people waiting in line to get into this country, and all you’re doing is taking up room. So if you don’t like it, get out.”
