Washington Redskins No More…Team Finally Caves to PC Culture
The politically correct culture in America has officially hit its peak with the announcement that the NFL football team the Washington Redskins will be changing its name and logo. No decision yet on what the new name will be. Perhaps they could name the team after the DC swamp culture.
The push for a name change had been going on for years, but the team had resisted until sponsors threatened to pull out.
A statement from the team was announced Monday morning:

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) – A federal judge has ordered the Patent and Trademark Office to cancel the registration of the Washington Redskins’ trademark, ruling that the team name may be disparaging to Native Americans.
The ruling Wednesday by Judge Gerald Bruce Lee affirms an earlier finding by an administrative appeal board.
