One day, Deputy Matt Holman of the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office met a homeless man walking down the road named Robert Morris. After hearing the man’s tragic story the officer was inspired and ended up giving him a hot meal and a bible. These actions have changed his life forever.
Six months later he received a voicemail from Morris that left him speechless. “You know, that man’s a hero,” Morris told the 911 operator, “And, he saved my life, literally.”
