Does anyone remember when John Brennan stated to the world that President Trump committed treason?
I do and here is a little refresher for you too.
Well, now it appears that Brennan is not feeling that same sentiment since his security clearance has been stripped. Brennan appeared on Rachel Maddow show and seemed to backtrack his original statements much to the chagrin of Maddow and her liberal audience.

So it’s “nothing short of treason” …but not TREASON? How does that work again?
At any rate, Maddow presses Brennan asking,
“But you didn’t mean that he committed treason, though?”
“I said it was nothing short of treasonous. That was the term I used, yes.”
That means treason, but it seems that Brennan is using a new dictionary where that phrase means something else.
Maddow calls him out: That’s the – if we – if we diagram the sentence, nothing short of treasonous means it’s treason, and that is when Brennan gives the weakest argument ever back.
“Well, yes. I think he has crossed the line repeatedly in terms of his failure to fulfill the responsibility of the office. And to look Putin square in the eye and say, this should never, ever happen again.”
