President Donald Trump went toe to toe with an ABC reporter on Wednesday and it was brutal.
ABC News reporter Jon Karl decided that he would stop being a reporter and become an advocate for government workers. The brazen reporter asked Trump why he would not sign bills to make sure that federal workers got paid during the government shutdown and of course, it did not go as the way Karl thought.
Watch:
“Do you think I should do that?” the president asked angrily.
“No, do you think I should do that, Jon?” he said again.
“I watch your one-sided reporting — do you think I should do that?” he said.
Karl attempted to get out of it but the president continued to tear into him.
“I’m saying that if you sign that, these workers can start getting paid,” the reporter said.
“So you would do it if you were in my position?” President Trump shot back.
“I’m not in your position,” Karl said under his breath.
“If you would do that, you should never be in this position because you would never get anything done — goodbye everyone,” Trump said, landing the final blow.
Twitter loved it.
