What happened when it was revealed that Hillary Clinton had praised a former Ku Klux Klan leader as her “mentor?” Well, actually, nothing — because that’s how the liberal media roll.
The “mentor” in question was former West Virginia Sen. Robert Byrd, a Democrat who was inexplicably never really held to account for his leadership in the KKK early in his career.
Byrd was, at the time of his death in 2010, the longest-serving member of Congress in history, and then-Secretary Clinton decided to eulogize him via video.
