Woman Asks To Use Phone, You Won’t Believe The Terror That Lurks Around The Corner

Home invasions can be terrifying for the homeowners who fall victim, and sometimes, homeowners have to defend themselves physically from invaders — but there are ways to foil an invasion before it happens.

A woman in North Carolina recently captured an attempted home invasion on her home’s surveillance video. She said at least three people tried to break into her home by convincing her to let them in. Now she’s warning others not to fall for the trick and never to open the door for strangers.

The homeowner explained that she was at home when a woman wearing a hoodie knocked on the door about 9:30 p.m., according to WBTV. Surveillance video showed another person hiding at the bottom of the porch stairs.

The strange woman knocked on the door several times while the second person began to look into the window. A third person appeared at the stairs soon after.

About two minutes into the video, the woman can be seen banging loudly on the door. That’s when the homeowner said she turned on the porch lights.

“She said ‘It’s me. My boyfriend dropped me off. We got into a fight and I need to use the phone,’” the homeowner told WBTV. The woman claimed to be a person named Stacy.
