Western Pennsylvania is an important key for winning the state in a presidential election. By themselves, they can have a major impact and swing victory one way or another. The area has usually been very reliably democratic for many years but this year is different. This year the people of Western Pa are voting for their jobs, their towns and their way of life. In a recent voter registration drive in one Western County saw every single democrat registering to vote, pledging to vote for Donald Trump.
Many Pennsylvania counties have energy companies that provide the majority of jobs, with many other jobs depending on that company for their livelihood. Democrats promise to destroy the coal industry, including Clinton and Obama. Not just democrats either. Many people who showed up have never voted for president in their lives.
Another thing that is going to cost democrats vote in Pennsylvania, is Hillary’s recent remarks calling 50% of Trump voters as deplorables who are racist, sexist and homophobic. It reminds them of when Obama called them bitter and remarked that they cling to their guns and their religions.

Clinton famously said in a town hall back in March: “We’re going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business.”
Obama showed how he felt about the working class in 2008 when he mocked their feelings toward religion, the Second Amendment and national sovereignty on the campaign trail. Clinton has made it clear that she was promising more of the same.
Many Democrat voters have become fed up with their party’s false promises and insults and, as this Pennsylvania town showed, they may express their frustration at the ballot box in November.
