Since 9/11, 2001, Americans have been waiting for the other shoe to drop and now while the world is watching France and Russia fight ISIS after being attacked, cryptic messaging comes from Washington players.
Fox News just released this story, of another terror threat in New York:
A new video released on Wednesday by ISIS claims that more attacks will come in the wake of Paris, specifically mentioning an attack in New York City’s Times Square by a suicide bomber .
The video, released by ISIS’s media arm the Furat Media Center, features re-purposed footage of a music video released back in April which showed a suicide bomber getting ready to attack Times Square.
The older footage from New York City, however, is followed by new video showing French President Francois Hollande’s address following the attacks on Paris last week.
Before showing scenes of New York’s Times Square, an ISIS militant is pictured saying that the attacks in Paris were just the beginning.
The video then cuts to a militant donning a bomb vest mixed with footage of flashing billboards and yellow taxi cabs.
The video ends with a message on screen that reads “and what is to come will be worse and more bitter.”
New York City Police Department spokesman Stephen Davis said the agency is aware of the newly released video, and will continue to work with the FBI and intelligence community.
“While some of the video footage is not new, the video reaffirms the message that New York City remains a top terrorist target,” he said.
And while, there seems to be no serious warnings or amping up of security across the country, like we experienced in 2001 after the twin tower bombings, there are cryptic messages coming from Washington almost scream with foreboding alarms.
Louie Gohmert wrote this about our government’s inability to properly screen the massive amounts of Syrian refugees pouring into the country in PJ Media.
There is truly a war taking place throughout the world. Radical Islam is at war with Western civilization that is not currently part of its caliphate. Though the Obama administration is out to convince you that there’s no war, or that climate change is our country’s biggest threat, the bloodbath in Paris proves the contrary without doubt. Though we are not engaged in defending ourselves fully, the one-sided war goes on, allowing our enemy to get stronger and more radical.
America is now faced with a stinging reality, one that threatens the very heart of our national security. President Obama has instructed his administration to bring tens of thousands of Syrian refugees into our country without any real standard of document authentication or actual database of information that would allow us to effectively vet these people.
We have been told repeatedly by this administration that these refugees entering the United States have been vetted, and that we are simply providing aid to the vetted moderate Muslim Syrian refugees. However, FBI Director Comey revealed a different story in a House Judiciary Committee Hearing recently.
When pressed about a fingerprint database, he stated that it will be “challenging” to vet those Syrian refugees who have “never crossed our radar screen.”
Think about that: no data, and no way to authenticate people or documents through a Syrian government the Obama administration has been trying to overthrow.
With the slaughtering of innocent lives at the hands of Islamic radical terrorists worldwide, we should be extremely alarmed at the thought of tens of thousands of improperly vetted refugees entering America.
And Missouri Senator, Roy Blunt, just wishes he didn’t know what he knows….
St. Louis Post Dispatch: Blunt, R-Mo., who receives top-secret briefings on terrorist threats on a regular basis, was headed to a secure, sound-protected room in the Hart Senate Office Building. Down a tunnel underneath the Capitol, around phalanxes of congressional aides and members of Congress going back and forth, he knew he was walking toward the grimmest hour of the day.
“I just wish I didn’t know what I know,” he said.
And what he knows he cannot talk about.
Blunt is one of 13 members of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. President Barack Obama had declared last week the Islamic State threat (the administration calls it ISIL) “contained” before its trainees killed 129 people in Paris on Friday. In a stunning rebuke of a president of her own party, the ranking Democrat on the Intelligence Committee, Dianne Feinstein of California, told MSNBC that “ISIS is not contained. ISIL is expanding.”
“I have never been more worried,” she declared.
Blunt somberly concurred.
“I have been on intelligence (committees in the House and Senate) off and on for the last 10 years,” he told the Post-Dispatch. “And clearly … the last year or so, has been the worst in terms of just the constant bad news of more threats from more places than ever before.”
One of those threats, a video from an alleged Islamic State propagandist, promised attacks on Washington. So the Capitol is in its now-familiar post-9/11 ramp-up security mode, with armed police more prevalent and prominent, including guards with automatic weapons walking the perimeter of the Capitol building itself.
Adding to the tension will be an overnight training exercise of F-16s, helicopters and other defense aircraft over Washington by the North American Aerospace Defense Command, or NORAD. That rumble was scheduled to disturb people’s sleep shortly after midnight Tuesday.
You can’t wait for the federal government to put protections in place to keep you safe, anymore, especially with the current commander in chief. Watch, listen and read between the lines. Your own security and safety may depend on it.
