Tensions between former President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis have risen as he continues to campaign for the 2024 election.

Trump has already stated that DeSantis declaring his candidacy in 2024, which some have said is a foregone conclusion, would be a betrayal after Trump assisted DeSantis in winning a close race for Governor in 2018.

Nonetheless, Trump’s attacks on the Governor had been mostly restrained until Tuesday, when he reposted images accusing the Governor of ‘grooming’ high school students.

The allegations began in 2021, when a photograph of DeSantis with students he allegedly taught at Darlington School in Rome, Georgia, surfaced.

According to sources familiar with the situation, he went to a party with the students where alcohol was served, though there has been no confirmation that the person pictured was DeSantis.

Donald Trump, who ripped through the 2016 presidential race with attacks on his opponents, re-posted images of a young Ron DeSantis allegedly partying with high school teenagers.

‘Isn’t that not Ron? He would never do something like that!’ Trump made the statement on his Truth Social platform.

The post linked to a Truth Social Account, which captured a digital image of a young man with a bowl haircut, who appeared to be DeSantis, surrounded by three young women.

One of them, who appears to be holding a brown glass bottle and has her arm around the now-Florida governor, is smiling.

To emphasize his point, Trump re-posted a message from a user named Dong-Chan Lee, who wrote that ‘Ron DeSantis used to have a “drink” party with his students when he was a high school teacher. Having drinks and cuddling with underage girls appears pretty gross and ‘ephebophiliaesque,’ a term referring to attraction to adolescents.

‘No way,’ Trump tweeted on Tuesday.
