Two days ago, conservative comedian Tim Young posted stunning new numbers from the CDC showing a significantly lower number of U.S. deaths related to COVID-19 than what’s being reported by the media.
HOLY SHIT: Did I read this wrong or did the CDC just revised the national COVID-19 deaths to 37,308?!?!

Conservative author and political pundit, Dinesh D’Souza also tweeted about the reduction in the number of deaths attributed to COVID-19 appearing on the CDC website. D’Souza asked what happened to the 30,000 people who are no longer showing up on the website as COVID-19 deaths, “Did 30,000 people spring back to life like Lazarus?” he asked.
Just like that, CDC reduces its #Coronavirus death count to 37,000. That’s nearly HALF the total they were peddling. Did 30,000 people spring back to life like Lazarus? No, this seems a “gaffe”—defined as a case of the CDC accidentally telling the truth https://t.co/fkrbxDbPem

UPDATED: CDC COVID-19 death count as of May 4, 2020: 38,576 deaths.
From the CDC website:
