If a person with a history of mental health problems is found wandering about with a knife, and attacks a police officer, then that person must be referred to a secure unit for proper assessment and treatment and not given bail so easily. This represents a failure of the health and judicial system that should protect the public and care for those with severe mental illness. And with this, a Doctor a Husband a Father was taken by Nigerian born, Femi Nanda, 23 year old psychotic immigrant from Africa.
Dr Jeroen Ensink’s tearful widow, who attended the Old Bailey to see Nanda sentenced for the killing, has demanded an inquiry after it emerged that Nanda, who had been studying at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), had charges of possessing a knife and assaulting a police officer dropped after prosecutors ruled there was insufficient evidence.
What a cry for judicial reform this is, if ever there was one. This is the fault of Political Correctness, and the “feelings” of helping the disadvantaged at the expense of law abiding citizens. What more will it take to make sure the ill, of any kind do not enter a country in such a state. What a crying shame to note a little child will never know the love of a parent. What do you think?
