Wisconsin Mom Arrested for Pimping Out Her Daughters Ages 16 and 17

A mother in Racine Wisconsin was arrested after it was discovered that she was pimping out her daughters ages 16 and 17 in a sex for hire scheme.  She was caught using a site known for pushing prostitution, possibly Back Page, to find johns for her daughters.  Her arrest is part of a larger investigation nationwide that concentrated on the sex slave business  mostly from Cambodia, the Philippines, Thailand, Canada, and the United States.  The investigation was dubbed “Operation Cross Country X,” that was aided by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Eighty two children were freed and 239 sex traffickers have been arrested.

In the Racine case, an undercover agent saw a website advertisement and went to a home where the two girls, ages 16 and 17, were rescued. The mother was among 23 people arrested by agents from the FBI’s Milwaukee office. No information about criminal charges was immediately available.

The FBI said Milwaukee agents rescued 11 minors between the ages of 14 and 17 years.

“The biggest numbers we’ve seen in Milwaukee, and we were the leading office in the country this year,” Milwaukee FBI Special Agent Reid Norris said.

Norris said they’re dealing with an epidemic and believe Milwaukee is now a “source city” for human trafficking.

“We’ve had girls from Milwaukee that we’ve found as far south as Dallas and Miami, so that’s what makes this challenging is that there isn’t a specific area we can just focus on,” Norris said.
