This poor woman was just going for a stroll in the park when she came across something that will probably give her nightmares.

In one of the most frightening stories to come out this year, a woman stumbled upon an odd box while out for a stroll. What was inside will give you nightmares.
Like a scene out of “The Godfather,” a Manhattan woman was walking Sunday through Highbridge Park near 190th street and Amsterdam Avenue around 11 a.m.
She happened upon an odd box that, upon closer inspection, was an old beer case. When she peaked inside, she was horrified at what the contents were.
New York City is known for some odd finds, but this one was unheard of: A cooked horse’s head was in the box, along with fruits, vegetables, and other animal’s bones. It was likely part of a meal, investigators said.

The severed horse’s head was stuffed inside the corona beer box, and then sealed, before the woman found it. Later on that Sunday, a second park-goer found goat and sheep body parts in Inwood Hill Park. Now police are looking into whether there is a link between the animal parts and “voodoo.”
The Dominican Republic Independence Day celebration took place on Saturday and may also be a link to these mysterious boxes, as horse meat is sometimes eaten in some parts of Hispaniola.
This story will make you think twice about peeking inside any type box that you don’t know the contents of. This woman wont be able to unsee that for a while.
