The tomb of a temple guard has been discovered at one of ancient Egypt’s most prominent burial sites, and archeologists believe it dates back more than 3,000 years, Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities reported Wednesday.
The discovery was unearthed by a team of Dutch and Italian archeologists in Saqqara, about 20 miles south of Cairo, Egypt. Researchers believe the temple-like tomb belonged to Panehsy, the guardian of Amun’s tomb – an Egyptian divinity known as the god of air. The tomb is thought to date back to Egypt’s 19th Dynasty, which ruled from 1292-1189 BC.
According to Mostafa Waziri, secretary general of Egypt’s Supreme Council on Antiquities.
“The new find sheds light on the development of Saqqara necropolis during the Ramesside era, and lifts the curtain on new individuals not yet known in historical sources.”
According to the Dutch National Museum of Antiquities, one of the organizations that worked on the excavation, Panehsy’s tomb contains a colonnaded courtyard, three chapels, and a shaft that leads to an underground burial chamber. According to the museum, the temple’s mudbrick walls include “beautiful, colorful reliefs” depicting Panehsy and his wife Baia, known as “the singer of Amun.”

One of the reliefs depicts Paneshy and his wife at an offering table with a priest covered in leopard skin named Piay. The tomb also has the hieroglyphs “steward of the temple of Amun,” which was his title, and “Paneshy of Memphis,” the ancient Egyptian capital.
“He had a very nice tomb with wonderful reliefs which show large traces of color,” McLatchey News spoke with Lara Weiss, curator of the Egyptian and Nubian collections at the National Museum of Antiquities.
The archeologist team also discovered four miniature chapels positioned in separate tombs on the east side of Panehsy’s that date to the same historical period. The owner of one of the chapels could be found.
According to the Dutch museum, the temple belonged to a man named YoeYoe and was discovered over a century ago but eventually covered up by sand. YoeYoe was regarded as the “gold foil maker of Pharaoh’s treasury,” and his tomb includes reliefs showing his funeral procession and the afterlife.

These discoveries are part of a series of noteworthy discoveries in Egypt this year, particularly in Saqqara. Archeologists uncovered the tomb of a 4,300-year-old “secret keeper” in January.
A “secret keeper” was a prestigious title for a senior official that could perform religious rituals, according to France 24.

Ok, I do not mean to switch topics too much but if you haven’t noticed—there is a highly woke agenda being promoted everywhere.
This woke agenda is being promoted not only on television but also in movies. However, that is just the tip of the iceberg. Even the stores that we shop at are funding the very liberal, commie, woke agendas that we are doing our best to rail against.
Now, we have to deal with our meat being pumped full of this new mRNA junk!
We need to stop funding these woke companies and I have an amazing alternative for you.
The only “catch”?
It’s only by referral.
Good thing you know someone that can refer you and that is me.
