If you have used Yahoo for your email service, it is most likely your information has been compromised. It has been revealed that Yahoo secretly scanned the emails of hundred of millions of customers.

The company complied with a classified U.S. government directive to search its customers’ incoming emails, and there is nothing you can do about it. The only other choice is to find another provider that does not comply with these federal requests.

According to DailyMail.co.uk:

It secretly built a custom software program in 2015 to scan hundreds of millions of Yahoo Mail accounts at the behest of the National Security Agency or FBI last year, two former employees and a third person apprised of the events told Reuters. Some surveillance experts say this represents the first case to surface of a U.S. Internet company agreeing to a spy agency’s demand by searching all incoming messages, as opposed to examining stored messages or scanning a small number of accounts in real time.

Is there any more questions about “Big Brother” is not watching and looking at everything you do?

The demand to search Yahoo Mail accounts came in the form of a classified directive sent to the company’s legal team, according to the three people familiar with the matter.

U.S. phone and Internet companies are known to have handed over bulk customer data to intelligence agencies. The question is why is the Obama Administration doing this, and who are they looking for? That is what needs to be explained to the American public.

What do you think?
