When it comes to human life there should be no hesitation on what should be done. Try to save it and sustain it as best as possible. That is My take. Back in 1973 Roe v Wade altered the way common sense was discussed in a court of law. An unborn baby in the womb became a letter or a number for argument sake. Now in court a human being can be argued as an equal to a cat, dog, or even a tree. With common sense out of the equation we can argue all of Steinem’s logic makes perfect sense. So when she states,“Forced childbirth is the single biggest cause of global warming,” Am I supposed to say,” your right or your mad.”
In a keynote address at a fundraiser for Planned Parenthood in Memphis, Tennessee, Steinem discussed what she views as the connections among feminism and anti-racism, and global warming and abortion. “Why is it that the same people who are against birth control and abortion are also against sex between two women or two men?” Steinem asked her audience, reports the Memphis Flyer. She continued that those people “are against any sex that cannot end in reproduction.”
And this is my point, I’m supposed to accept this distorted logic because now courts not grounded in common sense but literal translation of written laws takes precedent. I’ll leave it with this. Steinem is standing in front of you and states, “Childbirth is the single biggest cause of global warming.” Being in your right mind how would you answer her? I agree, it’s right up there with cow flagellation as a cause of climate change. What do you think?
