Zimmerman Auctions Gun Used In Trayvon Martin Murder, Has Shocking Plans For The Money…

In a shocking — and some might say macabre — political stand, Trayvon Martin shooter George Zimmerman tried to auction off the gun he used to kill the 17-year-old that fateful night in 2012.

However, the auction, set to begin at 11:00 a.m. EST on Gunbroker.com, has since been taken down. In fact, the site’s Facebook page had also been removed and its Twitter account set to “private,” according to the Orlando Sentinel.

It was not immediately known if the site had been hacked, if the company had taken down the auction and its social media presence due to negative reaction to Zimmerman’s auction, or if the online changes were unrelated.

According to WOFL, Zimmerman had planned to use the money from the auction to help defeat Hillary Clinton and Black Lives Matter activists.

“I’m a free American. I can do what I like with my possessions,” Zimmerman told reporters.

He said he got the gun back after he was found not guilty in 2013, and was auctioning it off because “it’s time to move past the firearm, and if I sell it and it sells, and I move past it.”

On the auction website, now deleted, Zimmerman said the proceeds will be used to target his prosecutor, the Black Lives Matter “sympathizer” who assaulted him last year, and other anti-law enforcement causes.

“On this day, 5/11/2016 exactly one year after the shooting attempt to end my life by BLM sympathizer Matthew Apperson I am proud to announce that a portion of the proceeds will be used to: fight BLM violence against Law Enforcement officers, ensure the demise of Angela Correy’s persecution career and Hillary Clinton’s anti-firearm rhetoric,” Zimmerman wrote.
