Matt Stewart of Howell, Mich. (pop: 9,489) was shocked when his sons came home and told him they had to share their bathroom with a girl. He and his wife discussed the situation and he decided the best course of action was to keep his three sons at home.
“My son informed me there was a girl in the bathroom with him and the other kids in his class.”
“As parents, we decided we were not going to force our children to make the decision between confusion, humiliation, and embarrassment.”
The school district blames their decision on the Obama caliphate:
“As has been widely reported, on May 13, 2016, the United States Department of Justice and Department of Education issued significant guidance on the rights of transgender students. This involved the Department’s interpretation of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, which is a statute prohibiting sex discrimination in educational programs or activities. Those Departments found that Title IX prohibits discrimination against students based on their transgender status.”
There is a major battle brewing, with 11 states challenging Obama on allowing transgenders to pick their bathroom. Interestingly, two of those states, West Virginia and Louisiana both have democratic governors. The suit has been filed in Texas, which is a very strategic move, since all appeals would go to the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, which is the most conservative Appeals Court in the country.
The suit came 12 days after the Obama caliphate announced that they were changing the meaning of the word “is”. From now on, gender will also include gender identification in Title IV. Would Shaun King and Rachel Dolezal then be able to sue for racial discrimination because they identify as black even though they are both white?
