Rte 66 between Albuquerque and Tjeras has been plagued by cars traveling far above the speed limit. It was decided that rumble strips should be installed. The engineers weren’t convinced that it would be enough, so they added a feature that was designed to entertain the drivers and possibly get drivers to slow down. As the car tires move over the rumble strips, the sound emanating from the car is “America the Beautiful.”
But don’t spread it around because BLM will show up and block the highway to prevent the song from playing and the democrats in congress will try to have the song changed to Internationale.
