Kamvelihle Ngala, a four-year-old boy, was allegedly snatched by his cannibal uncle, skinned alive, and ate his heart with a family member.
The evil killing of the four-year-old boy happened on Wednesday night last week at KwaNtsila village.
His grandmother, Nontuthuezelo Gwanya, 70, began a search through the night after the boy had gone missing while out playing with friends.
While searching for him, the grandmother went to her sister’s house. The sister then told her to check her nephew’s house. Gwanya’s sister feared that the little boy was in the grip of Satan as her nephew was recently released from prison.
In the middle of the night, Gwanya went to her nephew’s house but when she knocked the door, her nephew would not let her in. She forced to open it and her screams even brought villagers running.
She told reporters, “I thought a pig had been slaughtered because there was so much blood and then I saw the hand of my small boy and pieces of meat.”
“But he confessed to me that he had eaten the child’s flesh,” she added.
“My grandson did not deserve to die like that, especially at the hands of a family member who was supposed to protect and love him,” she sobbed.
Police in South Africa, arrested 30-year-old Mandisi Gwanya and charged him with murder for killing the boy in KwaNtsila village, Eastern Province, South Africa. He is still under the custody of Port St. Johns Magistrates.
Inside his home, they found the little boy’s blood and many body parts.
Neighbours said, the boy’s ribs were on a sideboard. His skull was skinned, and was split in half. Then the remains of his brain were in the saltshaker.
Family spokesperson, Nosidima Xakana, said the village all joined the search.
The community said they could not rule out that this was drug-fueled Satanic ritual.
