Alleged Murderer Makes Shocking 3 Word Confession On Reddit [WATCH]

A person claiming to be Agar Hasan, the man charged with the second-degree murder of his ex-girlfriend Melinda Vasilije in Canada, has posted what appears to be a confession to Reddit.

Police found Vasilije dead in her home on April 28. She had been stabbed to death.

“I did it,” said the person who claimed to be Hasan, 24, in the post titled “Wanted for Kitchener murder my side,” which was published late Monday.

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating the authenticity of the post, which was taken down by 12:30 P.M. on Tuesday.

The post read:

“Out of shock and fear I grab one (a knife). I hit her with it, almost blindly. A few times. I didn’t know what happened. I was confused, shocked and scared. I had no intentions of that happening. When I left I honestly thought she just passed out. Then I looked at the blood, and started freaking out and just ran. We were each other’s best friends. The amount of regret and sadness is without words.”

In April, Vasilije, 22, and Hasan ended their year-long relationship. Hasan claimed that when he went to Vasilije’s Kitchener residence a few weeks later they “cuddled and talked … and finally decided it was worth to try one more time.”  But Hasan said that when he was getting ready to leave, Vasilije became angry after he told her that he had recently been involved with other girls.

“Almost out of nowhere she grabs a knife by the sink,” the post said. “She comes at me in full force, aiming towards my face. I tell her to stop. She doesn’t.” He claimed that he “freaked out” and tried to grab the knife, but cut his hands and “hit her” with a knife.

“I’m sorry, to everyone. Especially Melinda’s family,” the post concluded. “I hope you forgive me in the afterlife.”

Attached to the post were supposed images of their last text conversation and of them together.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Hasan, who remains at large. Hasan, who police say fled to the U.S. shortly after the murder, was reportedly last spotted in Erie County, Pennsylvania, on Friday morning when someone saw a man matching his description in a Walmart parking lot.

Waterloo Regional Police Service said the Reddit post is being evaluated by investigators. They have refused to comment further until the process is complete, but encourage Hasan to turn himself into U.S. authorities.
