A Chinese passenger was spotted giving approximately zero fucks during an Air Asia flight from Bangkok to Xi’an last week, kicking her bare feet up and resting them on a neighboring passenger’s armrest.
Looking to chill in her humble economy class seat, the woman sat down and proceeded to take her shoes and socks off, to the disgust of fellow passengers, she then went even further, invading the personal space of the person sitting in front of her. A flight attendant was overheard apologizing to disgusted passengers, explaining that there was nothing she could do because, “They are all Chinese,” according to Tencent.
Of course, Air Asia flight attendants are understandably a bit wary of getting involved in on board disputes with mainland tourists after one Chinese passenger poured steaming hot water and instant noodles on a flight attendant during a flight from Bangkok to Nanjing last year.
However, at least this provides a good reason for why some people seem so desperate to get into first class.
According to EJ Insight, netizens proposed that the passenger behind the woman should take revenge and fight stinky feet with more stinky feet. Seems like that might get out of hand. But the least this woman could do next time is to get a decent pedicure first or request to be seated near a passenger with a foot fetish.
