They would support Trump but there’s no money in it.
As was said back in the Watergate days, “Follow the Money.” Investigators looking for connections between establishment money men looking to elect Paul Ryan and the three so called “Conservative talkers” Beck, Levin and Erickson didn’t have far to go to uncover millions of dollars given to these three to bash Trump under the guise of promoting Cruz. Those three never disclosed their close ties to opposition forces to Donald Trump.
The Conservative Tree House documents the financial arrangements of Beck and Levin:
“These financial/media relationships have largely and historically, remained hidden. They have sure never been publicly, clearly, and regularly stated so the consuming audience would know the presentation was fraught with financial conflict.”
Mark Levin has never disclosed that the son of his fiance is a full time staffer on the Cruz campaign. The first rule of journalism is that you disclose all possible conflicts of interest. Levin has never done that. Levin has also never mentioned that the The Senate Conservatives Fund (PAC) bought over $400,000 dollars worth of Mark Levin books. This an old dodge used to transfer money to someone you wish to pay off without making it look like a payoff. Ask Obama and Clinton. They sold a lot of books that way. The Senate Conservatives Fund (PAC) is a charter member of the DUMP TRUMP organization.
Glenn Beck, meanwhile, has David Barton, an establishment donor another charter member of the Dump Trump movement as well as being the Chairman of Beck’s Mercury One Charity. Beck has said that Cruz has been anointed by God to lead the country. I guess God also chose Barton to keep the millions pouring in to Beck. At least as long as Beck continues to spend three hours a day bashing Trump.
Erick Erickson left the blog he founded known as RedState.com, to start a new venture called, “The Resurgent.” Erickson has never mentioned his connection to the Rickett family of Wisconsin that runs OUR PRINCIPLES PAC, that gave Erickson’s “The Resurgent in February alone:
And just where did this money go? Click here to see.
You will notice on that form that the money went to oppose Trump for President. Ricketts recently met with Paul Singer and Paul Ryan at a restaurant to discuss Donald Trump. Both Singer and Ricketts oppose Trump. Meeting with Paul Ryan, considering they are both billionaires should throw the fear of God into every republican.
Other pundits accepting money to bash Trump includes but is not limited to:
♦ Or how about the Breitbart Media enterprise being run via an $11 million purchase from Billionaire Robert Mercer, who also funded Ted Cruz’s Super-PAC “Keep The Promise 1”, to the tune of $10 million. Little overlooked facts, never openly shared for news consumers to determine source motive. Pesky Sunlight
♦ Maybe the Ben Shapiro website “The Daily Wire“, being funded by the billionaire Wilks Brothers, Levi and Farris, in Texas. Who also fund Ted Cruz and his Super-PAC “Keep The Promise”. Shapiro never publicly disclosed the financial/content conflict, or the extent therein. Could Shapiro support any other candidate other than who his content owners approved of? Again, you decide. (Yep, Pesky Sunlight)
