Another shooting on a college campus is underway at the posting of this story. The campus of Washington University, in St. Louis, just issued this alert on it’s emergency site.

There is a report of one injury, so far, and the campus is on lock down.
Washington University tweeted an alert that a person with a weapon had been spotted on its Danforth Campus.
The tweet went up just after 1:30 p.m. The university told students and staff to take shelter where they felt safe until notified otherwise.
Wash U reports that a person was injured in in a shooting near Mallinckrodt Center.
Police are gathered near the Forsyth entrance to the campus.
No more information is known at this time.

And that’s not all! The St. Louis Post reports recent shootings in the area.
In a shooting earlier this month, a teen was shot near the Washington University medical campus adjacent to Barnes-Jewish Hospital. That also prompted an alert, though it did not in the end appear to be connected to the university.
And last month, Washington University briefly issued an emergency alert because of a report of gunfire along the MetroLink tracks near its North Campus facility at 700 Rosedale Avenue in St. Louis.
This is a developing story.
UPDATE: As of 2:50 p.m., an all clear was issued by campus security.
