UPDATE: 5:15 PM/CST About 150 (as per reports) patriots have taken over the Malheur Wildlife Refuge, about 25 miles south of Burns, Oregon.
Any federal employees who may have been at work at the Refuge were not present when the buildings were entered. However, computers and heaters were left on, so it appears that they left rather hurriedly.
The effort is to claim the federal facilities for Harney County, on behalf of the people of Harney County via the Harney County Committee of Safety. ~Gary Hunt
