Kathy Shelton is among those who aren’t buying Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s attempt to present herself as the champion of American women and children. That’s because Shelton doesn’t appreciate being a rape victim whose assailant got lenient treatment with the help of Hillary Clinton — who laughed about it.
“I may be Hillary Clinton’s 1st female victim,” Shelton tweeted on Sunday. “She ruined my life; defended my rapist and blamed me. I was 12 yrs old. Then she laughed at me.”
Shelton was raped by then-41-year-old Thomas Alfred Taylor in 1975. It was a brutal rape that left Shelton in a coma for five days and ultimately unable to have children of her own.
Clinton defended Taylor while doing legal aid work at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, and she used every trick in the book to get Taylor off the hook.

Odd as it may be for an avowed feminist to blame the victim, Clinton attacked Shelton’s character and signed an affidavit claiming Shelton was “emotionally unstable” and had a tendency to fantasize about older men.
She also accused Shelton of having made false accusations against others in the past.
Taylor served less than a year in prison after pleading guilty to a lesser charge.

An audio tape from 2008 revealed Clinton laughing about how she was able to get Taylor a reduced sentence through a loophole in the system.
