Colorado GOP Bypasses Voters to Select Cruz…Voter Registration Cards Burned…Indiana Disenfranchises Voters Also.

Update:  Since many liberals and Cruzbots have brought up the issue that rules are rules and this is normal, I felt I needed to inform you that these rules being used to deny Trump have never been the rules prior to this year.  These are brand new rules that render voters useless.

Colorado has bypassed the voters to select Ted Cruz as the recipient of 37 delegates.  More than 1 million voters would have been expected to show up for the Colorado primary or caucus but the bosses at the GOP in Colorado decided the voters couldn’t be trusted, so they canceled the voting and anointed Ted Cruz……………for the first round only.  One Colorado official was relieved of his job allegedly for supporting Trump.  The Co. GOP did not hide it’s bias as it announced Cruz would get all of Colorado’s delegates for the National GOP Convention in Cleveland later this summer.

The #NeverTrump has since been removed.

The anger by Trump supporters threatens any chance republicans had to take the Senate seat from democrat Michael Bennet and if Trump supporters stay home the democratic nominee will be a cinch to win the crucial swing state.  One man videotaped himself burning his republican registration with the declaration that he is now a democrat.  There are stories out of Colorado that many voters have also burned their registration cards.

Donald Trump also expressed his anger over the Colorado fiasco, whose scandalous actions could reverberate across the country and lead millions of Trump supporters to stay home.

“How is it possible that the people of the great State of Colorado never got to vote in the Republican Primary? Great anger – totally unfair.”
In late February, The Denver Post ran a sharp editorial on the Colorado GOP’s decision to relieve it’s voters from electing their candidate:

“GOP leaders have never provided a satisfactory reason for forgoing a presidential preference poll, although party chairman Steve House suggested on radio at one point that too many Republicans would otherwise flock to their local caucus.”

“Imagine that: party officials fearing that an interesting race might propel thousands of additional citizens to participate. But of course that might dilute the influence of elites and insiders. You can see why that could upset the faint-hearted.”

The Colorado GOP is not the only state to cut the voters out the decision making process.  In Tennessee, the state party installed 58 establishment hardliners as the state’s delegates even after Donald Trump scored a landslide victory.  Those 58 delegates will have to vote the way the voters elected but only in the first round.

Likewise, Indiana has already selected their delegates even though their primary is weeks away.  Those delegates will also be locked in for the first round.  Many of those delegates selected by the party bosses have expressed their desire for John Kasich and former Indiana governor, Mitch Daniels, both establishment choices.

And we are not done yet.  Other states, using GOP rules can likewise disenfranchise their voters by selecting delegates who would be free to vote for an establishment candidate beginning in the second round.

Here in South Carolina, where I live, Trump won every congressional district in the state but party bosses are suggesting that Trump could lose the delegates he won in the landslide election because he may not support the eventual republican candidate, which is odd because both Cruz and Kasich have also refused to commit their support, yet no threats to them have been made and they could pick up some of Trump’s delegates won during the election.

Wake up, America!!!  The GOP does not respect your vote.
