Dad Is Devastated By Letter From 15yo Son, Then He Sees There Is A [P.S. Written At Bottom]

The anticipation of getting a school report card can be quite scary. With most students, there is a subject that isn’t a favorite and can be a struggle to grasp on to. Whether it is math or English that makes you cringe, the thought of being scored and graded on something you despise can be devastating. And unless you are a genius, we all have our weak spots.

Son’s letter he left for his dad

After one young man received his report card, he devised a plan to present it to his father. Based on the creativity that the boy used, we can definitely assume that he has a little bit of artist in him and his lacking subject is certainly not one that involves creativity.

When the father came home from work one day, he walked past his son’s room like he always does. But, when he peeked into the room, there was something off. His 15-year-old son’s room was tidy and picked up, unlike the usual teen mess that the boy left behind. The bed was made and the clothes were tucked away neatly. Right away the father noticed an envelope on the bed. He immediately started to panic and his palms began to sweat. Something was off, as his son never left notes, and this one was specifically addressed to “Dad.”

Much to his surprise, the father read the letter that was accompanied with the envelope, and it said the following…

Dear Dad,

It is with great regret and sorrow that I’m writing you. I had to elope with my new girlfriend because I wanted to avoid a scene with Mom and you. I’ve been finding real passion with Stacy, and she is so nice. However, I knew you would not approve of her because of her piercings, tattoos, and tight motorcycle clothes. Also, she is so much older than me.

But it’s not only the passion, Dad. She’s pregnant. Stacy said that we will be very happy. She owns a trailer in the woods and has a stack of firewood for the whole winter. We share a dream of having many more children.

Stacy has opened my eyes to the fact that marijuana doesn’t really hurt anyone. We’ll be growing it for ourselves and trading it with other people in the commune for all the cocaine and ecstasy we want.

In the meantime, we’ll pray that science will find a cure for AIDS, so Stacy can get better. She deserves it!

Don’t worry, Dad. I’m 15, and I know how to take care of myself. Someday, I’m sure we’ll be back to visit, so you can get to know your many grandchildren.

P.S. Dad, none of the above is true. I’m over at Jason’s house. I just wanted to remind you that there are worse things in life than the school report that’s on the kitchen table. Call when it’s safe for me to come home!

And that is how you prepare someone for the worst. Hopefully, the father was easy on his son and maybe he will push him to get into a field that involves creativity because he certainly has no shortage of the trait.
